He arose shortly after 4 am this morning and dressed and had gone into another room where he made a fire and was seated in a rocking chair then found dead by his wife.
Survivors are his wife Mrs. Mollie Norwood, a son Ivy Norwood and a daughter Mrs. Dean Myers, both of Port Arthur, three grandchildren and two stepsons, Fred and Jesse Norwood both of Orange, four stepdaughters Mrs. Carrie Gildwell of Port Arthur, Mrs. Gladys Peveto and Mrs. Claud Fuller both of Orange and Mrs. Virgie Mae Peet of Mauriceville, two brothers Rye Norwood of Orange, Jim Norwood of Port Arthur, three sisters, Mrs.W.R. McCall of Grand Chenier, Louisiana, Mrs. Lonnie Reese, and Mrs. Pearl Yager of Port Arthur.
