Cryer Funeral services for Ruby Lurline
Cryer, 89, of
Westlake will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 21, 2004, in the
Hixson Chapel in Lake Charles with Rev. Francis
LaRocque and Rev. Larry Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow in the
Cooper Cemetery in
Pickering under the direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.
Visitation was held from 3-9 p.m. Saturday, March 20, and will be held from 8 a.m. today until the time of the servicein the funeral home.
Mrs. Cryer died Thursday, March 18 at her residence.
She was born in
Pickering, and lived in
Westlake. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Lake Charles where she had taught Sunday School and had worked and served with the Youth Department and the GA's. Along with her husband, she had owned and operated Cryer's Grocery in Goos Port. She also worked and retired from J.C. Penny Co. and had worked in the offices of Security Industrial Insurance.
Survivors include, one son, Finers B. Cryer II of Westlake; seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. today, March 21, 2004 at Macedonia Primitive
Baptist Church in Junction with
Elder G.L. Reed officiating.
Burial will follow in the
Cannon Cemetery in Merryville under the direction of
Myers Colonial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Mr. Hennigan died Friday, March 19, 2004 in
Beaumont,
Texas.
He was a native of Port Neches,
Texas but grew up in Merryville. He was a 1960 graduate of Merryville High School. He worked as the supervisor for
Dupont Chemical inf
Orange,
Texas and retired in 2003. He attended Macedonia Primitive
Baptist Church in Junction.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Lee

Kaya of Brandon, Miss; one daughter, Melanie
Willett and husband Craig of Merryville; one brother, Jerry
Hennigan of Merryville; two sisters, Lenora
