I'm writing to find out information on who honored JIMMIE LYONS with a bronze plaque on the foot of his gravesite. It's a testament to the life that he must have lived to have someone place such a moving tribute on his gravesite 50 years after his death. See attached for photo that I took in 2002. If anyone has information on who placed the plaque, please contact me. I'd love to hear the story of this relative. Also, if anyone has any information on the 416 Reserve Labor Battalion, Quartermaster Corps from World War I, please contact me at jumpmaster1906@yahoo.com.

This gravesite is located in Farquahar Cemetery.

The plaque reads:

Jimmie LYONS
12-13-1899 - 8-18-1951
WWI
Janitor Sulphur School, 1920s-1940s
Indispensable!
Loving, kind, thoughtful, friend
to pupils and teachers.
Owner Jimmy's Bar-BQ Hwy 90.
From his then young friends of long ago
2001
