My Great grandfather Jake Louis Chamlee was born in Louisiana. It is believed that he was born in either Claiborne or Bossier. Also the father of Jake Louis Chamlee was Newton Melvin Chamlee. Newton died in Louisiana in either of the countys or parishes. Does anyone know of a grave in Bossier for Newton Melvin Chamlee? Is there birth records about 1865?
