I know very little, but can tell you that he was here c.July 1945 as my father was born April 1946. Kathleen was in the army at the time, but we dont know where. Another family member remembers meeting Joe in Chester, and Kathleen was based in Carlile at some point.

Unfortunately that is all we have to work with. Except that there was talk of native american blood, but we are not really sure what that means. I have been using GI Trace and have narrowed my search to 5 possibilities, but without any further info I am really struggling to narrow further.

Any help gratefully received, I am not a particlarly seasoned researcher, so very much learning 'on the job'
