Jake Cutshaw born 1880 in Greeneville, Tennessee, died September 13, 1949 in Franklin County, Ky. He moved with his family to Frankfort when a small child, later going to Woodford County where he spent the greater part of his life as a fencer on Woodford County farms, returning to Frankfort five years ago. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Justina Cutshaw; three daughters, Mary Katherine and Patsy Jean Cutshaw of this city, and Mrs. Alice Wilkins of Versailles; eight sons, Jacob Cutshaw Jr., of Chicago, James Cutshaw of New York City, Isaac, Randolph, William and Charles Cutshaw of this city, David and Donald Cutshaw of Scott County; six sisters, Mrs. Oregon Hutchinson of this city, Mrs. Malvina Groves of Versailles, Mrs. Lillian McGrath, Mrs. Emma Snider, Mrs. Cordia Daugherty and Mrs. Alice Pettit, Louisville. Burial in Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Ky.
