I have hit a brick wall. I am looking for a John W. Smith who married Elizabeth (I do not know her maiden name). John
was born in North Carolina and Elizabeth was born in Kentucky. They are in the 1850 census of Bond Co. Illinois but I have checked the marriage records in Illinois and have found nothing so I am trying to see if maybe they were married in Kentucky. They had 2 sets of twins born in Illinois. Chesterfield and Melvina (my gggrandmother), and James and Charles. If anyone has any suggestions or info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
