I am looking for information on William Marshall ( unknown - circa 1870 KY) who married Anna M Botts (1820 KY - circa 1900 KY). I do not know for sure when or where William was born. I presume he died around 1870 in KY since the 1870 census I found with his wife, Anna M and his son David C Marshall and Anna's mother Sarah Botts (1793 VA) doesn't have him listed. William and Anna had at least one child, David C Marshall. I do not know if there were other children. I do not know Sarah Botts' maiden name nor her husband's name. (Some records do have Botts as "Betts", but I believe it is "Botts") I assume she died somewhere after 1870 in KY. Anna was born around 1820 in KY and seemed to have died around 1900 in KY as that is when I lose her in the directory listings for KY and David left KY around then. David moved to IN between 1900 and 1910 then between 1910 and 1916 he went to OH where he died in 1941 in Dayton, OH. David married Anna C Gump sometime around 1884 in IN or KY. They had 12 children.
