I think, that Barry was a nickname/abbreviation as this would be an unusal christian name that far back

I think you are right about Berry being a nickname. I will work on getting birth certificates. I have a www.odcr.com Mayes-County Case MLI-02-00093 NESTER,LUCY JANE and BARNETT,Berry cause marriage licence date 09/10/1912 imported licence (do you know what imported licence means) his youngest child Andrew Berry BARNETT was b.3 Aug.1912. Berry's Wife died between then and April 1914 when the kids went to the Orphans Home. The 1st child Ivan was b. 25 June 1899 according to World War 1 Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918. Tulsa, OK.
