Mr. Roy Goodwin, age 79, of Hopkinsville, Ky., formerly of Cerulean, KY., died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky. He was a farmer and a member of Kelly Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Martha Anne Goodwin of Christian Co., KY; Two Daughters & Sons-In-Law, Judy & Willard Hammond of Bardwell, Ky. & Connie & Carlos Narviez of Hopkinsville, Ky. Four Sons & Daughters-In-Law, Rex Goodwin of Cerulean, Ky., Danny & Melody Goodwin of Cerulean, Ky., Ron & Sherry Goodwin of Bardwell, Ky. and Bob Goodwin of Savannah, Ga.. One Step Daughter-Kristy (Farmer) Lamirande of Christian Co., Ky.. Two Step Sons & Wife-Alan Farmer of Christian Co., Ky. and Jason & Kathy Farmer of Hopkinsville, Ky. One Sister, Irene Holloway of Hopkinsville, Ky.. Two Brothers, Herman Goodwin of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Robert "Jack" Goodwin of Cerulean, Ky. 21 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in Death by: Father-John Amos Goodwin and Mother-Vera (Owen) Goodwin. 1st wife of 50 years-Cora Sue Goodwin, Son-Ricky Ross Goodwin, Two Brothers-Raymond "Preacher" Goodwin and Walter "Watt" Goodwin. Two Sisters- Sue Holloway and Louise Rogers. One Step Son-Michael Scott Farmer. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, March 15, 2010. Funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz, KY at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2010, Reverend Phillip Brumfield, Reverend Don Mock and Reverend Irvin Darnall officiating. Interment will be at Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean, Ky.
