KY passed away at 12:20 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2008 at the
Princeton Health & Rehab Center in
Princeton,
KY.
She was born October 1, 1926, in Chevy
Chase, Maryland to the late William and Alene French
Gardner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marion Schnapf and one son, John Edward Schnapf.
She is remembered by many for her hospitality, generosity, and wonderful cooking, especially her homemade bread. Her legacy and pride is her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by eight children, Frank Schnapf and his wife, Barbara of Madisonville,
KY, Marian Kovatchitch and her husband Joe of
Herkimer, NY, Diane
Garrard and her husband Tommy of Poole,
KY, Jennifer
Gobin and her husband Mark of Providence, Jane

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 29, 2008, at
Christ The King Catholic Church in Madisonville with Father Jerry Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in
Henderson,
KY.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 A.M until 12:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Rosary service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
