Ms. Rudell McGuyer, 96, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away at 4:35 A.M., Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY.

She was born August 7, 1912 in Circle City, KY to the late William Rufus McGuyer and Georgia Hibbs McGuyer. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Fannie Blakely and Aline McGuyer; one brother, Fred McGuyer.

Ms. McGuyer was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Dawson Springs and worked as an Inspector for Enro Shirt Factory for 20 years.

She is survived by her caregiver, Geneva James of Dawson Springs; one brother, Jim McGuyer of Madisonville; two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 18, 2008, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Minister Harley Langley and Bro. Jarvis James officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and after 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
