Albert Coleman Brown, 55, died at 9 p.m. Thursday in Hopkins County Hospital in Madisonville where he was taken early that morning. He had been in ill health for several months but had been in critical condition only a few days. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Providence and had served twelve years in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Martin's Dry Cleaners.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Dan Dunbar of Clovis, New Mexico and Mrs. Clem Sisk of Providence; three brothers, Bernice Brown, near Providence, Frank Brown of Providence and Holt Brown, Akron Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Leslie Chapman officiating, assisted by the Rev. E.L. Dixon of Edmonton and Elder Gordon Hearon of Clay.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
