Goalie Milner Doane, 82, of Florence, died May 20, 1981 at Booth Hospital. He was a retired Grant County farmer, having lived in Grant County most of his life, moving to Florence about a year and a half ago. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sadie Teal Doane to whom he was married 61 years; two sons, Norman of Crittenden and Marvin of Springfield, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Charlene Garcia of Florence; a sister, Mrs. Teresa Martin of DeBarry, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Bearers were Stephen, Timothy, Kevin, Sean and Tony Doane and Mike Landrum. Burial in Crittenden Cemetery.
