Arthur E. "Ott" Woodyard, 81, Williamstown, Ky., died at Poe Rest Home in Cynthiana, Wednesday, May 8, 1957. He was the son of the late James and Ella Frances Woodyard. His wife, Bertha Powell Woodyard, preceded him in death in 1956. A native of Grant County, he was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. His survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Orla Herron of Williamstown, Mrs. Allen Greenfield of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mrs. George Shadoan of Covington; four sons, Stanley of Dayton, Ohio, Charles of Atlanta of Georgia, Alton and Wilbur of Williamstown; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Higgins of California. Burial in Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, Ky.
