Arthur Rose, age 76, of MIDDLETOWN, OH, passed away June 13, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton where he had been a patient for five days. He was born April 14, 1933 in Wolfe County, KY. He was employed in construction for Labor Union 534. Arthur was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #501 and was an avid NASCAR race fan. Preceding him in death were his parents, Malcolm H. and Emma (Trent) Rose, and one granddaughter, Kristen Isom. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosa; two daughters, Kathy Rose and Brenda (Jeffrey) Cracraft; three step children, Tammy Gabbard (James Davis), Frankie Isom and Nick Isom; five grandchildren, Paul, Nick, Ashley, Taylor and Kaylee; one great granddaughter, Cristin; five brothers, J. C. Rose, Doug Rose, Bill Rose, Earl Rose and Wilmer Rose; two sisters, Delphi Risner and Joyce Williams; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be June 17, 2009 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend James Sexton officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
