Lula Smith BOWLING, Age 93, of MIDDLETOWN, OH, passed away March 13, 2009 at Garden Manor. Lula was born in Campton, KY the daughter of Willie & Sarah Smith. She was employed by Aeronica Manufacturing Co. from 1952 to 1960 and retired in 1984 from the YMCA. Lula was a member of Springhill Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by two brothers William Smith and Richard Smith; two sisters Verga Smith and Janie Smith. Survived by one son Jerry BOWLING (Linda) of MIDDLETOWN, OH; three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Lula has unselfishly donated her body to Wright State University, School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lula's name to: Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. A service of Celebration of life will be held 11am March 21, 2009 at Spring Hill Church of Christ, 2021 Brell Drive, Bob Stacy Officiating.
