Trying to find full name of Jack Peck, m.Melissa Ellen Cox. Brothers were Richard, Jeff, Jim, Clifford & Darley. Sisters were Myrtle & Oma. I know he was most know as Jack Peck, but some records lead me to first name of either William or Andrew (not sure which). Does anyone know Melissa Cox Peck? Could she also have gone by the name of Tup or Tupp? Thanks for any info.

Could you be off a generation ? Rather than brothers and sisters, could those named actually be sons and daughters? William Jackson Peck and Malissa Cox were the parents of those named. Nevertheless, I don't remember Jeff having a brother named Jack. Bill

Yes, you are correct. I intended to say "sons" & "daughters" of Jack Peck not brothers & sisters.

Hi William,

My name is Wilma. I am the granddaughter of Jeff, Clifford's brother. So that makes us 2nd cousins? I don't have a clear memory of the Peck family, just history that has been told to me & what I have been able to get thru my search. I know that Jack lived in the Wolfe County section of Kentucky all his life, & I believe around the Hazel Green area. I have some photos of some of the Peck's. Do you have any more info or pictures? I would be happy to share what I have with you.

Hello Wilma I am surprised that you were able to reach me as I never actually joined ancestory.com so you will have to use my custerdude@hotmail.com email. I still have a problem with this Jack Peck, like i said my grandfather (your greatgrandfather) was named William Jackson and he had a brother named Jack, so there may be some confusion there, I remember your grandfather, Jeff, we used to visit him every summer in Hazel Green he had a big farm, and he was the oldest of the Peck Clan, if you can send pictures that would fine, we had a fire in Pittsburgh and lost all our pictures of my folks. William

wilma sorry I made a mistake, I was thinking about Dick my fathers oldest brother. Jeff (we called him Uncle Jeffy) was the second oldest boy of the family. I remember him and he was a good old boy. When my father died we gave him my fathers pocket knife. Do you still have it? I would like to have it back if it is just laying around
William
