GRACE DAY
STAMPER, 92 of Frenchburg d. Nov. 27, 2000 at the
Wolfe County Health Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Judge Day and Molly
Noble Day.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Thomas
STAMPER, and two sons,
Maxwell STAMPER and Michael
STAMPER.
Survivors include nine daughters, Audrey

Boyd of Lexington, Marjoline
Franchi of Sarasota, Florida,

Wisconsin,
Fran Nielson of Chicago, IL, Joyce
STAMPER, Joan

Tapley all of Jeffersonville, and Sandra Nash of Jacksonville, Florida; two sons, Verl stamper of

Kettering, OH; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Burial in the Holbey Cemetery at Hazel Green.
Note: This cemetery is sometimes called Public Square.
I believe Mrs. Stamper was a granddaughter or great granddaughter of George
Washington Noble who wrote "Behold He Cometh in the Clouds" ca 1912.
