Former Resident Dies in Missouri

Mrs. Veola Parker Miller, 57, a former resident of Providence, died Sunday at her home in Briar Creek, Missouri following an extended illness. She lived here until her marriage eleven years ago and then moved to Missouri.
Survivors are her husband, Willie Miller; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Ford and Mrs. Nola Teague of this city; and two brothers, Ernest Parker, this city, and Johnnie Parker, Soquel, California.
The body will be brought here to the home of her sister, Mrs. Robert Ford. Funeral services will be held at the Primitive Baptist church but arrangements have not been complete. **
