The Gooding's:

Mary Ann 'Polly' Goodin/Gooding that was living with her sister's family, Lewis and Drusilla Gooding Turpin, had two children out of wedlock, they were: Emily J Gooding b. abt 1850 and John Gooding b. 25 Dec 1857 in Wayne Co., KY. On John Gooding's birth record it says father 'Unknown'.

Brother, Samuel P Gooding, married 1st Elizabeth Smith, and 2nd Penelope Rutherford.

Brother, Richard Wilson Gooding married Mary Elizabeth Hardwick

I think that the eldest sister, Amanda Gooding, married a Gregory, but I'll have to check my records to be sure.

James William Scandland married Lucy Dobkins
Their children:
Josephine Scandland b. abt 1860
Cassandra Ann 'Cassie' Scandland b. abt 1863 - married William M. Woolsey and moved to OREGON
Rebecca J Scandland b. abt 1866
Lenore M Scandland b. abt 1871
John M Scandland b. abt 1873
Evaline O 'Eva' Scandland b. 20 Mar 1875 Pulaski Co., KY in 1910 has her living in OREGON as a boarder

Other family members may have moved to Oregon as well -- I just don't have any record of it.

I show the family on the 1880 census of Pulaski Co., KY -
