John Jackson born Amelia Co, VA of Francis, Sr and Mary Stewart Jackson married 1793 in KY to Mary (Polly) Cook, dau of John and Margaret Caldwell Cook.
John and Mary (Polly) had the following Jackson children in Kentucky.
Margaret Caldwell 1795 married John M. Haden and Samuel D. Sublett. Two sons, John Mosely Haden 1815 and William F Haden 1817 by first husband. Two sons, James W. Sublett 1822 and Lafayette Sublett 1834 and several daughters by second husband. She died 1859 in Daviess Co., KY.
John Stewart 1797 married Eliza Adams 1821 and died 1853. They had the following children: Hester Ann 1822, Shelby Andrew 1825, John Adams 1827, Mary Frances 1829, Harriet Auseliner 1832, Burwell Jefferson 1824, Martha Washington 1837, Eliza Clay 1840, Margaret Helen 1844 and William Francis 1846. John died 1853.
Hester Fort 1800 Warren Co, KY married Wm. Pleasant. Hines 1817 and had John J.1819-1821 ,Mary Caldwell 1822, Margaret S. 1824, George W. 1826, Martha Washington 1829 and Hester Fort 1831. She died after birth of Hester and he remarried several times.
Burwell Jefferson 1803 married Deborah Butler 1825. They had daughter Mary E. who married Mortimer Sloss. Burwell died 1829.
Martha Washington 1808 married Robert Sloss. Had son Ferdinand.
MaryAnn Vaughn 1811 married 1835 to John Atchison. She died 1898.
Francis Winchester 1814 married 1841 Martha Ragland. They had son John William 1842. Francis marrried 1852 to Mary Porter had son Luther.. Francis married 1863 to Nancy Allen. He died 1898.
Anthaline Elizabeth born 1817 married 1840 John Valentine. She died 1950.
Here is short version of will of John Jackson filed 1841 lists wife Mary Jackson to support and maintain children not married, daughter Antheline to receive goods when she married, son John S. has received all he is to receive, son Francis W. the 200 acres that John and Mary live on and 32 acres bought from admins of Burwell Jackson and 35 acres headright to be sold and proceeds divided between daughters still living. John's two slaves to Francis after Mary's death. If Francis still with mother, then 1/5 of crop each year. When Mary dies, slaves and stock to be divided between daughters, Margaret C. Sublett, Martha W. Sloss, Mary V. Atchison and Antheline E. Jackson. My man Jerry is not to be included but to live on plantation and be cared for and decently intered. When property is divided, Mary Hines, Martha Hines (should be Margaret), George Hines, Martha Hines and Hester F. Hines, children of my daughter Hester F. Hines are each to have $5. John D. Jackson and Mary E. Jackson children of son Burwell, deceased to each have $5. Wife Mary and son Francis W. to be executrix and executor.
Note that Francis marries later that year and Anthaline is already married by then. His will is dated 2 May 1838.
John and Mary Cook Jackson are both buried in Jackson Cemetery in Gaspen River area of Kentucky. There is a bio of them in The Longhunter and some of this information comes from there.
