Celia Helm Canaday purchased a farm in Spencer Co. in 1843. Her mother Lydia Morehead Helm died in Spencer Co. Celia's husband, Daniel Canaday, died before 1843. Celia later married Ennis Jewell, and still later she married Obediah Truax, both of Spencer Co. Her children: Sarah married John Herndon; Daniel; Elizabeth married Page; Thomas;Hester married Bennett; Mary Jane married Truax; Susan married Wakefield.
