I have been researching my family for some time now and am stuck.... My great-great grandfather was Levi P. Thomas, his parents were John M. and Rebecca (Butler) Thomas.... They all left Simpson Co., KY together for Shelby Co., MO around 1846 and Levi eventually settled where I live and was raised in Belleview, Calhoun Co., IL.. I am looking for any information on John and Rebecca while in KY... our history says they were born in KY and that John fought in the War of 1812..... I would like to find their parents, but I also don't have record of them upon Levi's move to Belleview.... any info would be greatly appreciated!!
