Shelby County. My great-great grandfather, Pierce (Pearce) Butler Bohannon, married "Mrs. Margaret Dye, a professional nurse, widow of Douglas Dye," in late 1905 (? December), in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Does anyone have any information about Mrs. Dye? When was she born, where was she born, when and where did she die? P.B. Bohannon moved to the Confederate Soldiers Home in Pewee Valley perhaps as early as 1906 and Margaret is not listed as a survivor on his death certificate, May 1923...
