Researching these names from Shelby County. My email address recently changed and I wanted you to know. Over Labor Day weekend, we visited the community of Bohannon, Virginia, from whence, presumably, my ancestor, Richard Bohannon, came. Close by on the map (although I did not visit it) was the community of Todd's Point, so I know how the Shelby County community got its name!
