He married Isabella Catlett 28 Nov 1838 Scott Co KY: children: Emma, Oscar, Mary, C.C. Jr. On the 1840 Scott Co KY census, He is enumerated one household away from his father in law, Thomas Catlett and 5 households away from my gr gr grandfather Joseph R. Barbee and his wife Margaret A. Lemon Barbee. I am trying to find some connection between C.C. Barbee and Joseph R. Barbee.
