Edmond Murphy b. 1803 and Susannah Clevenger b. 1805 were married in 1823 in Pike Co. They lived in Logan Co. until the death of Susannah around 1838 or so. Edmond married Polly Shortridge and relocated in Grundy, VA. The older children returned to Pike Co. and took up residence on Pond Creek. Gabriel and Alexander can be found in that district living with their young children and younger siblings in the 1850 census.
