James P. Haddix, age 86, of
MIDDLETOWN, OH passed away June 1, 2009 at Garden
Manor Retirement Village. He was born January 11, 1923 in
Hazard,
KY to Kelly and Nora (
Terrell)
HADDIX. He worked as a factory worker for
Sorg Paper
Mill for 30 years, retiring in 1974. James attended
Yankee Road First Church of God and was a lifetime member of the
Eagles and the
Moose. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers,
Miles HADDIX, Kelly
HADDIX, Jr. and George Haddix; sisters, Marie, Ora and Junie. James is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pauline A. Haddix; daughters, Carol (Don) Stacy of
MIDDLETOWN, Linda (Eugene)
Hoffman of
Trenton, OH; sons, David
HADDIX of
Houston, TX and Mark
HADDIX of Middletown; 6 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Kenzekowski and
Cora Daugherty both of Lexington,
KY. Visitation will be held June 4, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life
Service will be held June 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be at
