Alfred HALE, age 84 of Carlisle, OH formerly of Germantown, OH passed away April 10, 2009 at Sycamore Hospital. Alfred was born in Jeff, KY, the son of the late Alfred O. and Pearl (Barnett) HALE. He was a veteran of WWII serving the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Verneice and a son Donald E. Hale. He is survived by 3 sons Bob HALE of Carlisle; Marvin HALE of Cape Coral, FL and Rick HALE of Miamisburg, OH; 2 daughters Pasty Worley of Eaton, OH and Janie HALE of Carlisle; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. April 14, 2009 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, Germantown, OH. Pastor Bobby Reed Officiating. Burial Germantown Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. April 13, 2009 at the funeral home.
