Everett E. Pratt, Sr. age 76, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of MIDDLETOWN, OH passed away March 29, 2009 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, FL. He was born July 14, 1932 in Fusonia, KY, the son of Hiram and Annie (Bailey) PRATT. Everett served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked at Rets Technical Center as a computer instructor and NCR as a computer programmer following his retirement from the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine PRATT in 2007; sisters, Minnie Ann and Thelma; brother, Francis; brother-in-law, Donald Jones. Everett is survived by his daughter, Anita (Gary) Miller of Palm Coast, FL; 2 granddaughters, Marla Turner of Trenton, OH and Mandy Stamper of Cincinnati, OH; 6 great-grandchildren, Logan, Alexa, Dylan and Jenna Turner of Trenton and Michaela and Savannah; brothers, Luther of Viper, KY and Freddy of Willow Spring, MO. Visitation will be held April 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held April 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 or the Flagler County Humane Society, 1 Shelter Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
