Polly Von (nee: Ashley) COOMER, 73, of Pleasant Plain, OH died August 16, 2008. Born on September 5, 1934 in Hazard, KY to Herman and Mary (nee: Adams) Ashley, she lived for her husband, just as her husband lives for her. Preceded in death by her parents, son Russell "Hoot" Williams and brother, Woody Ashley, survivors include husband, Richard COOMER of Pleasant Plain, OH, sons Dan COOMER (Tracy) of Pleasant Plain, OH, and Richard Williams of KY, daughters, Karen COOMER of Trenton, OH and Cindy Oakes (Donnie) of Seven Mile, OH, brother, Jack Ashley of Marion, OH, sister, Kathleen of Indianapolis, IN, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many loving friends. Visitation was August 19, 2008 from 11am-12pm with service immediately following, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow, OH. Pastor Wash Pennington officiated and interment followed in Edwardsville Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Association.
