I am searching for a Dove Combs in Perry or Letcher County who had a daughter by the name of Lovetta, her nickname is Eddie. I am looking for anything I can find because I don't have a lot of information on this. Her father was Boone Bowling b. 1913 in Clay County Kentucky and d. 1986 in Letcher County.

Lori, There was a Dove Combs that taught school at Quicksand Elementary School, Quicksand, KY Breathitt Ct. Her husband's name was Ed Combs. In the early 50's they both were apx. 35 years old. I had an aunt Dove Combs. She had a son named Jack, and an older daughter I do not remember well. She was the daughter of Enoch Smith(McDaniels) and Jane. My father was her half brother Forester, who changed his name to James B. Smith so he could enlist early in WWII. She was called Dovie as I remember.
