Lillian Johnson Little...a real genealogical headache!

I am looking for ANY information I can find on my paternal family. I'm looking at one big mystery and have very few facts to go on!
My grandmother was LILLIAN JOHNSON LITTLE.
LILLIAN JOHNSON had my father, JAMES BROWN STACY,
19 Dec 1929. His father was believed to be JOE STACY.
Lillian was never married to this man. I don't have a clue where he was from or when he died. I have seen quite a few STACY listings in census records.
Lillian had at least one sister, BERTHA or BERTHIE, who was married but I don't know the name.
Maybe a sister LIZA or LIZIE.
Lillian eventually married DENNIS KNOX LITTLE, or "D.K," and had more children. They were from Hazard and the surrounding area. I remember my dad mentioning Lothair.
I don't know Lillian's birthday, but think it may have been Valentine's Day. She died around 1956. She lived in KY when she died. Don't even know where she's buried.
Ok, another mystery....we sent for my Dad's birth certificate.
His name was JAMES BROWN STACY. They sent us back one that said his name was JAMES HAROLD BROWN.
I've looked in some Census records, but I really don't have much of a starting place!
If anyone is able to help me...give me advice on where to turn next...please let me know!
If you can't get me at my e-mail, please see my web page:

Thank you so much for your time!

I don't know if I can help or not but...I have a George Johnson who had daughters named Lizzie and Bertha, who married a Deaton, and Callie and I am sure there were more but I don't know their names. This was my great grandmother's uncle who was lived in the Breathitt/Perry County area but my grandmother doesn't remember if he had a daughter, Lillian. The children Lizzie was 3 in the 1910 census and Bertha was 1. Callie came later with George's 2nd wife and they were living with George's dad Frank in 1910. Bert lived in the same area as my family does now and died recently and like an idiot I didn't save her obit which had more info. I will see if I can't get it at the library or from her daughter.

Not sure if this is the family you are looking for but maybe worth a shot.

Maybe some more info

I think I may have confused myself...LOL. After looking at some more of my information, I realized something I hadn't before. The 1910 census says that Goerge and his wife Calla had a Lizzie age 3 living with them but my cemetery records show that Lizze dau. of George and Callie died shortly after birth in 1907...kinda weird. Perhaps they wrote down the wrong name.

I also did a search on a local paper web page and got Bert's obit. She has sisters named Marie and Callie, brother Luther, Roscoe, Elube, Robert, Roy, Segle, and Aster. But no mention of a Lillian (or Lizzie for that matter).

It still might be worth looking into. I don't want to lead you on some chase that isn't beneficial.

LILLIAN JOHNSON

Thank you so much!

I don't know if it'll come in handy...but I'll hold onto the info just in case! I'm really at the point now where any information might be helpful down the road!
