Cornelius family, 1900 census...

I'm searching for any information on the family of Albert Cornelius and Minnie Daniels.
I found them in the IGI as A. T. Cornelius and Minnie Daniel, married in 1785 in Pendleton Co, KY.
I also found them in a 1900 census of Pendleton County, in the Grassy Creek Precinct. They were listed as:
A Cornelius (Head) b. Feb 1853
Minnie Cornelius (Wife) b. Jan 1860
Alfred W. Cornelius (Son) b. Oct 1884
Erma Cornelius (Daughter) b. Feb 1890

The very next listing on that census is for Mary Daniels, a widow who is the sole member of her household. She was born in Jan 1826. I have a sneaking suspicion Mary was Minnie's mother.
I have a copy of Minnie (Daniels) Cornelius' will that lists her children as: Alfie, Erma, Carrie, Iris, and Mollie (real name Mary Lydia).
Any information that anyone could provide on this family would be VERY helpful.
Thank you!

Well, Carrie Cornelius' sister, Mollie, was my great grandmother. I guess that makes us cousins of some removal or another. :)
I've had a heck of a time trying to find anything on this line of my family. I haven't done Genealogy in a while, but I'll try to dig up my stuff within the next month or so (I'm moving, so I'll definitely come across it before the end of the summer!) and send you what I have.

Albert T Cornelius, was born in 1853 in Kenton Co and died 22 Dec 1942 in Pendleton Co. His parents were Tilman Cornelius and Lydia Morris, according to the informant on his death certificate, Mrs. R Ewing. He's buried at Gardnersville. He married Minnie Daniel on 25 Nov. 1875 in Pendleton Co. - File 22, document 232, volume 18, page 242.
He had a brother, James Edward Cornelius and his death record says the father's name was Timothy. He's also buried at Gardnersville.
There is a Tilman Cornelius buried at Gardnersville - 1832-1899. Minnie's there also, died 1949. Looks like his wife was (and Albert's mother) was Josephine and they lived in Kenton Co in 1860. Tilman age 21, was in Kenton Co in 1850 with what looks like his parents, James Cornelius and Elizabeth. HOH in 1850 is John R Stephens, age 78 from Maryland. James Cornelius is 50 and Elizabeth is 46.
You may already have all of this, but thought maybe it would help.
My only Daniel connection is a collateral line and I'm not sure it connects with this one.
Minnie's parents were George W Daniel and Mary Jane Anderson who married in Pendleton Co on 11 Jan 1859- File 13, document 4, volume 2, page 130. They are in the 1870 census for Precinct 5 of Pendleton Co. HH 201.

I realize no one has asked, but I have the MORRIS (Lydia) connection to this family. Her sister, Eliza Jane, is my ggg grandmother. I have some information (and am very willing to share!) on the MORRIS family if anyone is interested.
And thank you for the information on the Cornelius family!

I would love to have any information you have on the Morris family. I just recently started researching again, and I know I don't have anything beyond Lydia on that line.

Thanks!

Hi Carrie,
We have corresponded in the past....a very long time ago! I don't have a current email address for you so I'm going to have to leave the MORRIS info here on the Cornelius message board.

Father: Jonathan S. bc1805 PA (source: census recs, marriage rec of Eliza
Jane)

Mother: Catherine Skerwanian (source: E.E. Barton Papers)

Children:
Eliza Jane or Mary Jane bc1822-1829 (various census recs)
m. James Conley

Lydia bc1832 (census)
m.4 July 1850 Kenton, KY (mar. rec bk)
d. 1855

George bc1834 KY
m.Kate Holmes (E. E. Barton Papers)

Cicero bc 1836 KY
m. 15 June 1866 Pendleton (Pend. m. rec)
d. 1902 (E. E. Barton Papers)

Elizabeth bc 1838 KY
m Tom Reed (E. E. Barton Papers)

John Benj. bc 1840-1844 KY (census recs)
m 1867 Ruth Robinson Pendleton, KY (m. recs)
d. 1915 Pendleton, KY (KY death cert)

Mary or Mollie bc 1842 - 1847 (census recs)
m 1866 Archibald Sorrell (mar recs)
d 1923 Covington, Kenton KY (KY death cert)

Ed bc1850 KY (census)
(never married, died in Galveston, TX according to E. E. Barton
Papers)

I believe (without black and white proof) that Jonathan married 4xs:
1. Catherine Skerwanian (or someone with a name close to that)
2. Harriett Wynn who gave him 2 more sons, James and Alexander
3. Mary Herrington 1856 according to Pendleton mar. recs
4. Margaret Thrasher 1856 according to Pendleton mar. recs

I have found the #3 and 4 wives marriage records, but they didn't produce
any children.

I've never found a death for Jonathan and can not find him anywhere after
1860.

Eliza Jane is my direct connection, my ggg grandmother.

Hope this helps you!
