If someone has a history book or other reference that mentions "Shadburn & Price", a business in Bardstown in 1817, could you please share it with me?
Edward Price was the Price part of the business; he had also some connection with Pittsburg, KY. I thought there might be some old advertizing in the local history files or something.
I use the following for reference:
Robert Price died about 22 July 1817, Nelson, KY, Will Bk C Page 537:
""Appraisal of the personal estate of Robert Price, decd., by Wm. R. Hynes, Samuel Smiley, Samuel Carpenter & Joseph Lewis, 22 July 1817. Total: $8,981.88 which includes his 1/2 of the store of Shadburn & Price. John Price, adm. Mention is made of case in Price's pockets at Pittsburgh.""

I am also very interested in a plat map of town lots so I can use land records to locate the business lot in town.
