Halbert is really Holbert guess its just bad handwritting. Holbert was his son. If I recall the D in Williams name possibly stands for David, I have the paperwork around here somewhere from where my great grandmother Rosa/Rosy got married to Esther Rogers. As far as the name in the mothers slot I believe Holbert may have told them his mothers nickname of Lou. Her real name was Julia. She is listed several times on census records as Julia and Lou. When my grandmother met her she said she called her ma'am and she told her just call me Lou everyone does. Also on my great grandmothers obit it states her name as Julia "lou" Armstrong.
