Carl McElvain, was my mother's brother and my uncle. He was better known as Pete. Where the name came from I don't know. Louis was his father and Sarah Elizabeth or Bettie was his mother. Pete's son Carl Jr. died just a few years ago. There was a daughter Mary and I don't know her whereabouts. Two sons beside Carl Jr. are also dead. One of those sons was named Harold but called Buddy. I don't recall the other son's name. The mother of these children was Marge. The lady he married after Marge and their children I don't know. I hope this helps answer your questions.
