Martin B. Uzzel, age 81, of Northridge OH, passed away on January 17, 2005. Mr Uzzel was born in Graham KY, March 23, 1923, retired from Yellow Freight and a member of First Baptist Church of Vandalia (OH). Preceded in death by his wife, Martha L. in 1997; son, Martin David in 2003; son-in-law William Rowland in 1993; 3 brothers, William, Benjamin, and Paul Dempsey and a sister Viola. Survived by 2 daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and Calvin Robbins and Cynthia K. Rowland; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tracy Uzzel; daughter-in-law Marilyn Uzzel; grandchildren and spouses, Martin Dee and Cheri Robbins, Kimberly and Jim Morris, William L. Rowland Jr., Kristine Rowland Davis, Dr. David B. and Lisa Uzzel, Andy and Allie Uzzel; great grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, and Alicia Morris, Zachary and Josie Uzzel, Adam Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Joanne, Emory (Gatlin) and Mary; sister-in-law, Fern Uzzel and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service 10:00am January 21, 2005 at the George C. Martin Funeral Home "Northridge Chapel" 5040 Frederick Pk at Needmore Rd, Dayton OH. Interment Willow View Cemetery. Pastors Charles Betts and Wayne Monroe officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8pm January 20, 2005 at the funeral home.
