Frances F. Lynch
DECATUR - Frances F. Lynch, 75, of Decatur, passed peacefully in her sleep Saturday, June 27, 2009, in her home with her family by her side. Frances was born in Thomkonsville, Kentucky on September 1, 1933, daughter of Arthur O. and Lovie M. (Crowe) Cropper. She married Robert Shepard in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Elmer Lynch in 1985. He also preceded her in death in 1995. Frances enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved J.D.'s tacos. She also enjoyed playing Skip-bo with her friend, Gloria. She always put her family ahead of herself, and enjoyed taking care of them. Surviving are her two daughters, Marsha Osborn-Hunter (J.D.); Betty Patrick (Jim); four grandchildren, Angela Wilderman (Morgan); Brian Osborn; Matthew Osborn (Angela); Kimberly Betzer (Mike); four great grandchildren, Timmy Conner; Brittany Shepard; Haley Betzer; Eliza Osborn; four stepchildren, Danny E. Lynch (Vicki); Dianna Hanners (Steve); David "Red" Lynch (Christy); Dean Lynch (Katie); 11 step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; two nieces, two nephews; and special friends, Gloria Brinkman and Cherrie Moran. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and two husbands. Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 2, in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery. The family of Frances F.
