It sure looks like what I was looking for:
(I was evedently given the wrong information).

If uou look at Bransford it could have been
"Brans Ford Ryherd" or "Brance Ford Ryherd".

Just something to look at. The Census takers wrote down
names like they sounded to them.

According to the information that I was given, he died in
1903 Sullivan, Moultrie Co., IL., and burried in the
Mt. Zion Cemetery. (?)

If he was born a Ford he could have been adoped by U.
Grant Ryherd; and given the Ryherd name.(?)

He supposly had a sister Maletha/Letha Ford b. 1880
in Monroe Co., KY.

Mary Ford married Ulysses Simpson "Grant" Ryherd
July 30, 1889 so Bransford was born about 6 years befor
the marred.

Any thoughts?
