This first photo is of my maternal great-grandfather Ruben Hurt of Edmonton, Kentucky, photo is c. 1890 according to my grandmother. The second photo is of his family. From left to right, standing in the back: Della Rae Hurt (Garrett); sister Hettie Hurt (Thurman); Garnet; Hayden Thurman holding his son, Lowell. Seated are Ruben Hurt, his wife Elizabeth Johnson Hurt, and I believe that is her father next to her, Bob Johnson, but I am searching for verification on this photo. I'm also guessing it was taken c. 1920.
