While going through family papers I came across a partial family history of Claud E. Ritchie. In the list of ancestors there is a Charles C. son of Godfrey and Julia Abell, and beside that is the statement (my dad). I’m trying to figure out why the child of Charles would give my family a history on the Ritchie’s. Any help would be appreciated.

I belive they are all from Mead Co. Ky
