Don
I have answered your replie a couple of times for some reason it never made it on here . My Great grandfather was Milford Perry
he was a brother to your Ogleton B Perry he married Lunverna Rose ,He is buried in Higginbottam cemetery and I think I remember seeing a couple different O.B. buried there. There is lot of the Perry's there. I was wondering how u figured out who Ebenezner's dad was I was between the Richard Perry and Solomon Perry and William they are atleast one of them living around him for the few years in is in the census..I know he is on the tax list around 1840 or 1841 and in 1850 Ebenezner shows up on the census and again on the 1860 census and on the 1870 he is gone and the wife and kids are there so I figured he died 1869 by the age of the last kid they had.He claimed 100 acre in 1840's if I remember right,I haven't worked on this in awhile I couldn't get past Ebenezner with any proof so I quit looking for awhile...If I can help answer any question let me know...
Thanks
D.P.

Hi Gail, I do know my(yours)Tunnell history because I am compiling on them & Elizabeth(Tunnell)who m."Captain"George Ball Sr.Been compiling for MANY "MOONS"!!
your Known Tunnell lineage begins in France.
First proven ancestors are:
Tomas Tonnelier(b.@ 1656 in France)& m.Jaquetta Raganault.Begat:Several kids.But we descend from
Guillaume Tonnelier(b.@1675)marrried unknown
and their 1st.child was OUR William!!
A ter Guillaume & his wife & our litle Wmarrived in the area of York Co.Eng.he changed the spelling to an English verson of Tonnelier & that was 'Tunnel'.
Wm.became fluent in English & French and when Lady Ann Howard was probably 16 to 20 her Dad asked(Guillaum/William o teacher her but they fell in love.I OPRESUME that they couldn't marry because she was of Royalty & he was a commoner & different religions and so they left englamd & saied for america in @ 1730/1731 and they came to Fredricksburg,Spotslyvania Co.Va.After I arriving there they probably had at least 12/14 kids. But only the names of four sons are known.Robert/Wm./Stephen Sr.& John.ALL became ministers !!!I "DISCOVERED "Elizabeth Tunnell in a book called Ball's of Fairfax Co,Va.and I knew in my heart that she was Anne & William's Tunnell's daughter but THREE Bible's have surfaced among her descendents. One states that her Dad didn't approve of her marrying George Ball. The other mentions Ann & Wm.Tunnell as their ancestors. Another factor that ties Elizabeth to Ann & Wm.Tunnell is the fact that her two grandkids James Ballard Ball & his sister Rebecca married the grandchildren of Rev.Stephen Tunnell Sr.!!! And among the descendents of Rev.Jammes & Rev.Stephen Tunnell Sr. The Tunnell name is used very frequenthly as a middle name.Elizabet named her kids the same names as my 4th,G.Grandfather Wm.Tunnel named his !!.
My 3rd.Great grandfather was Calvin Tunnell & that name is used a LOT among Elizbeth's descendents.Sincerely,Your distant cousin,Wilma M.(Cowsar)Brown------I will respond to ALL e-mails !!! My e-mail is grannywmb@aol.com

***********************************************************
Guillaume Tonnelier b.Between 1702 -03 in France
I don't recall that name in my database, let me look, no, I have several James Spradlins in there, but not this James. None of the James Spradlins I have would have been born in the time frame for WWI, or WWII for that matter. The only James Spradlin I have met personally would be Minnowhead's son James. We're slightly related.

My line of Perrys come through Ebenzner Perry and Eliza Richardson Perry from N.Carolina to Pulaski Co. Ky and there children were James abt 1854,Milford abt 1856 (my gggranfather),Ehoch abt 1859,Ogleton B abt 1853,Amy abt 1856,Alfred abt 1859. All info above comes from Census 1850-1880..Ebenzner must have died 1870 he3 isn 't on tax list after 1860 but his wife is listed in 1870 has owner,Eliza father and mother were John Richards born abt 1765 married Elizabeth Davis ..I'm stuck on Ebenzner's father between William, or Richard has the father of Ebenzner Dad...They both lived around him all the time and they were both from N.carolina...Hope there might be something here to help you out...
D.Perry

I'm not even sure that this applies to you and'or your family but I have had a set of dog tags from a james jackson spradlin for such a long time and I have all the info from thedog tags if you might be related toihim. they are very old and look like maybe from world war 1. they are not like my sons typical dog tags that we see today so i'm assuming? If you have any link can you reoly and I'll see if they are yours. I hope so. I know if they were my families I'd proudly want them back. I have no idea where I got them, maybe my son found when he was little I think.
thanks
