Robert ROUNDTREE, age 83, of DAYTON, OH passed away on April 12, 2009. He was born March 25, 1926 in Stearns, KY, the son of the late Esbon & Vica ROUNDTREE. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Army Air Corps. Robert retired from Harris Graphics. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Milford, Alfred, Cecil, Everett, & Kenneth Roundtree; and his sisters, Myrtle & Joyce ROUNDTREE and Thelma Bryant. Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Hill) Roundtree; son, Tim (Darlene) Shepherd; daughter, Roberta (Kenneth) Beavers; 3 granddaughters, Dyreda, Crystal, & Roxanne; 4 grandsons, Joshua, Jeremy, Justin, & Joseph; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on April 15, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, DAYTON, OH. Interment will follow at DAYTON Memorial Park Cemetery.
