The children of John C. and Amanda Elizabeth Ramage Maret were: Evelyn Maret (born June 1881); James L. Maret (born 19 December 1887) married ______ (died before 1920); Lillie M. Maret (born June 1889) married _____ Vogel (died before 1920); William Frank Maret (24 October 1890-28 December 1976) married Oranell Edgerley (23 March 1911-26 January 1966) and lived in Memphis, Tennessee; and Ruth Maret (2 July 1892-22 July 1961) married Frank Moses Swift (27 July 1892-15 August 1945) and settled in Memphis, Tennessee
