I am looking for info on William Stillwell and Phoebe Dye who lived in Mason Co. 1810-1850s, particularly a will abstract or anything that gives names of children. William Stillwell (sometimes spelled Stilwell) died Sept. 14, 1857, in Maysville. I am trying to find parents of Peola Stillwell, born abt. 1822, Ky. who lived in Lewis Co. in 1850. He married Harriett Burris Sept. 1841 in Lewis Co. with security by John Stilwell. There are only 4 John Stillwells in Ky. in 1840 census. One is John D. Stilwell who married Elizabeth Humphreys in 1838 in Mason. Also, in 1850 census he lives in Mason.Therefore, I am wondering if my Peola is related to William or John D. Stillwell in Mason Co.
