Bonnie Preece Stapleton, 72, of New Vienna, OH, formerly of Dayton, OH died July 16, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton, in Dayton, OH. She was born December 27, 1937 in Martin County, KY, daughter of the late Benjamin Harvey Preece and Agnes Hall Preece. Surviving are son, Michael (Rachel) Stapleton of New Vienna, OH, 3 granddaughters, Megan Stapleton of Ft. Wright, KY, Hannah (Willie) Turner of Amelia, OH, and Hanorah Campbell of New Vienna, OH, 1 great-grandson, Willie Turner III, 2 sisters, Wanda Gauze, Nell Sloan, 3 brothers, Harold Preece, Gary Preece, and William Preece . In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stapleton, 1 brother, Landon Preece, and 1 sister, Evelyn Mills. Services will be held at Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Inez, KY on July 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery, Inez, KY.
