PATRICIA PERRY patperry@mlode.com Looking for information on following people as they relate to WRIGHT, WELLS, SMITH AND THORP families, all who married in Madison County.
John BARNES married Sarah WELLS in 1822, bondsman was Thomas WRIGHT and consent was Henry WELLS, father of the bride.  William WELLS married Elizabeth THORP in 1818, bondsman was Thomas THORP, consent was Thomas THORP, father of the bride. Thomas WRIGHT married Kiturah WELLS 1817, bondsman was William WELLS, consent was Henry WELLS, father of the bride.  James W. SMTIH married Eleanor THORP in 1818, bondsman was Thomas THORP and consent was Charles SMITH father of the groom, and Eleanor THORP, mother of the bride.  Henry WRIGHT married Elender(Eleanor) SMITH 1844, bondsman Samuel Strother, consent James W. SMITH, father of the bride, dec; Thomas Royston, Guardian of bride and Thomas W. Wright, father of the groom.  Many family members went to Buchanan and Platte Counties MO.
