We are looking for any information regarding John NICKERSON (m) Ruth ROBERTS on 02/12/1811.Their son, James Robert NICKERSON married Melvina HERIFORD(HERRYFORD).We have no date. He, John Robert, came to California in 1849 and returned to either KY. or MO and picked up the family, bringing them to Mount Pleasant, Lincoln, Placer Co. where he became a successful rancher, vintner, and nurseryman.
